This role will sit within the WooliesX business and will help develop and evolve the risk framework for the business, as well as developing and evolving the risk profile for each of WooliesX’s platform businesses. This position will also work closely with our Woolworths Group Risk management function to ensure alignment and consistency across our Group in managing our material risk events and ensuring we operate within our risk appetite.
The Head of Risk is a strong commercial leader with a pragmatic and relationship-oriented approach, a passion for retail and strong enterprise risk management experience that is adaptable to an agile organisation.
You will bring a fresh perspective to the business and be prepared to look at things differently, leading on innovation and opportunities to successfully mature risk across WooliesX.
As WooliesX continues to play a key role in the Woolworths Group’s Food and Everyday needs ecosystem strategy, this is a unique, complex and exciting role given the nature and scale of the WooliesX business, its position as the leading Australian retail digital platform, and the challenging and dynamic nature of its operations. Ideally, you will be a dynamic, engaging and strategically oriented leader who is well-suited to a high-paced and complex retail business.
