What will you contribute?

Working as part of the Marketing Center of Excellence, this role will be under the Data Team responsible for data related projects such as data governance, data acquisition/building, data enhancement, etc.

Reports to Marketing Data Team Manager

Required Experience:

  • Proven capability to work with high volumes of data within tight timescales, whilst maintaining accuracy
  • The ability to work with databases and meet high standards of data quality
  • Basic knowledge of data for direct marketing purposes would be an advantage
  • IT literate, with good typing skills and ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Foreign language competencies will be an advantage. English proficiency is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Qualify, clean and collect new records according to certain criteria in order to build data sets from targeted sales & marketing campaigns through web research and telemarketing
  • Complete records by web-based sources to enrich quality of data
  • Format data and merge duplicates in database
  • Engage in data cleansing activities that occur because of email marketing campaigns, and other marketing related activities
  • Ensure robust testing of any desk or telephone research briefs carried out by third party companies and report on quality levels
  • Accurately classify new data captured as part of desk research to allow the data to be searchable
  • Update and maintain the marketing database
  • Work effectively with other colleagues and contribute feedback where appropriate regarding emailing campaigns, etc.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Achieve certain targets pertaining to accuracy, quality and freshness of group data, so that these are regularly met and surpassed
  • Meet project deadlines
  • Ensure ethical conduct and professional behaviour

Required experience and skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related technology area (or equivalent) is required
  • 1-2 years professional work experience, preferably in the marketing organization
  • Excellent phone manner, with a clear and confident approach
  • Strong attention to detail with a methodical approach to work
  • Great attention to detail, accuracy and ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment with flawless execution; working collaboratively with cross-funtional, cross-cultural teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Well-organised
  • Self-motivated, energetic and dynamic
  • Determined and target-orientated
  • Exceptional listening and probing skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently when required
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, etc.)
  • Experience working for a software, technology or finance firm is a plus
  • Good planning and organizational skills
  • Self-motivated, energetic and dynamic
