Our Money Movement team in APAC powers Stripe’s platform across the suite of Stripes products and services. Our mission is to make money movement simple, programmable and efficient within Stripe’s ecosystem for APAC users.About the team and the role:
Stripe accepts, manages, and pays out money across many countries, currencies, and payment methods. Millions of businesses, from startups to the Fortune 100, expect Stripe to be reliable, fast, secure, and effortlessly work at scale. We handle hundreds of billions of dollars every year. The Money Movement team is working toward a future in which all of the complexity that comes with handling money (e.g. accepting different currencies, adopting new payment methods, integrating with hundreds of banks globally) is hidden from Stripe’s users. Core to this effort is the Global Payments and Treasury Network. The GPTN sits at the core of Stripe’s business and thousands of developers will build on top of it to create valuable products and services that billions of people use.
As an Engineering Manager on APAC Money Movement, you’ll be leading a team that is responsible for building APIs, products, and the GPTN platform. You’ll work closely with customers, partner teams like Connect, as well as our payment infrastructure teams that sit at the core of Stripe. You’ll be paired with engineering teams globally across US, EMEA and LATAM.

- Experience as an engineering manager who has mentored other engineering leaders

- The ability to be clear and persuasive in writing and in person

We contribute to existing open-source projects and the people working on them, and we release several tools as open-source.
