Strategic Account Executive, AUNZ

We are looking for a highly experienced sales executive who is a self-starter, demonstrates success dealing with ambiguity, operates in a high-growth environment, and solves complicated problems with limited oversight. Ideal candidates will have experience navigating complex strategic sales, working with internal and customer executives on a regular basis, superior communication skills, and a knack for understanding complex customer needs. 


  • Be responsible for revenue growth for 1-3 of Stripe’s most strategic customers
  • Develop both the long-term vision and account strategy for the team and manage day-to-day relationships, both internal and external
  • Be accountable for increasing revenue and stickiness of your customers
  • Effectively work cross-functionally and globally across the organisation to shape Stripe’s solutions to meet customer needs.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • 8+ years of technology sales experience, specifically with a minimum of 2+ years managing 1-2 strategic/global accounts
  • Experience driving complex strategy and relationships at multiple levels
  • Ability to build relationships with strategic client and industry thought leaders
  • Demonstrated passion for Stripe’s mission
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts and build great relationships with highly technical customers. Also needs to be skilled at driving CxO level strategy and relationships.

Nice to have:

  • Prior experience at a growth stage Internet/software company
