About the Role : 

 

As a UX Designer you will play a pivotal role in designing the future of e-commerce shopping through omni-channel customer experiences across our Woolworths digital ecosystem. With a customer first approach, you will work with the product teams to build user experiences which lead to customer success, engagement and growth.  Working on multiple initiatives, you will deliver great experiences and ensure our propositions are brought to life through engaging digital experiences across our WooliesX ecosystem. You will be key in improving the user experience and optimising the customer journey to achieve digital experience targets. 

 

Further this role is specifically responsible for :

Drive continuous discovery informed through customer data and research, on how our customers consume, access and choose products as they shop through our online shopping journeys. Delivery of future experience improvements to enhance product price and promotions enabling core shopping missions through various interactions and omni-channel touchpoints across our ecommerce ecosystem. 

 

  • Lead the discovery work across price, product and promotion experiences and collaboratively work with the UX research lead to determine insights and design direction
  • Collaboratively work on research approach and have experience executing feature level generative usability testing
  • Work with an experimental mindset to optimise and conduct A/B multivariate and single testing
  • Drive user-centric design principles to everything you do. Moving quickly, iterate rapidly and keep the customer at the heart of everything you do 
  • Create UX artefacts such as wireframes, customer journey maps, user flows, sketches, interactive prototypes.
  • Have fluent communication through storytelling verbally and written, the reasons for design direction and confidently challenge or support dialogue to align respective stakeholders
  • Developing expert knowledge on usability best in class experiences for online and offline shopping and is proactively seeking innovative solutions and challenging the team
  • Understand the eco-system of WooliesX and continually strive to execute across our and customer journeys
  • Demonstrate success metrics and outcomes important to our customer and business that have led to learnings that have allowed team to continue or pivot within their projects

Essential Skills:

 

  • Minimum 3 years experience in designing user experience for digital products 
  • Proven experience in translating user research and usability findings into iterative product solutions
  • Strong understanding of UX research methodologies but also translate these findings into lo fi sketches, designs, and prototypes 
  • Excellent working knowledge of Figma, Miro
  • Ability to work in an agile environment, part of a multidisciplinary team. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Comfortable and confident in managing stakeholders expectations
  • Passion for learning and innovation, balanced with business needs and customer expectations
  • Experience with the end-to-end design life cycle (concept to market roll out).
