What you will be doing
Lead a team in the successful delivery of change to managed services customers. This includes the delivery of end-user/business change, mandatory and maintenance projects, and responsibility for the change deployment and certification process.
- Lead teams of people delivering change services to managed services customers.
- Build a strong, capable team positioned to deliver high quality services to managed services customers now and in the future.
- Attracts and retains talent required to deliver outstanding client service.
- Manages assignment of personnel to appropriate initiatives, performance evaluations, career planning and succession planning.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Ensure customer satisfaction with the change services provided to them.
- Ensure customer environments are highly available and stable, and meeting customer needs.
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
- 15+ years work experience in the listed derivatives business, of which at least 10 years as a project manager / business analyst and 5 years as a program manager.
- 10+ years work experience as a people manager, leading teams across multiple locations and time-zones.
- Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods, supported by accreditation in a formal methodology, such as PMP or PRINCE2.
- Excellent knowledge of project performance evaluation techniques and key metrics.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Project and other book of work management toolsets such as Jira.
- Ability to network effectively, negotiate well and influence internal and external stakeholders.
- Confidence to remain calm in high pressure situations.
- Strong client presentation skills.
- Experience of working with senior management.
