The Role

This is a new marketing role within Woolworths at Work – one of the fastest-growing and strategically vital areas of WooliesX. This newly created role focuses on working across multiple parts of the business over time and using different marketing techniques to acquire, retain and spend activate businesses.

On a day-to-day basis, you will work closely with different members of the marketing team to plan and execute marketing campaigns and programs for both new and current business customers. This could include social media and digital campaigns, events - both in-person and online, new customer journeys, email campaigns, case study creation, client-facing collateral, landing page development, product launches and direct mail.

Program development may include working with our external agencies or our internal studio where you will own every element of the program from top to bottom - strategy, to design to writing and building emails. Someone who has used or is excited about marketing automation will be critical for success.

A strong communicator, known for quality delivery with a focus on the detail you are confident to share ideas, highlight opportunities and take ownership and the lead on projects. You will be curious about customers and understanding their needs and putting them at the centre of decisions. Performance-oriented you will measure and monitor your activity, sharing results with senior leaders with a focus on optimisation. Day to day you will assist with the management of budgets related to your campaigns.

This is a really exciting and new role that will be supported by a team of experienced marketers. This role provides a career path into more senior B2B roles at WooliesX so suitable for someone interested in building a B2B career.

In addition you will;

  • Think strategically
  • Use data to identify an opportunity, develop an idea to solve, translate to a marketing program and execute it creatively
  • Execute marketing and communications plans including social media and digital campaigns, events, email campaigns, case study creation, client-facing collateral, landing page development, product launches and direct mail with demonstrable ROI.
  • Write engaging copy and design direction for a variety of B2B audiences.
  • Prepare design briefs and work with external agencies and graphic designers to produce creative communications materials
  • Develop and deliver engaging email campaigns to generate and nurture leads
  • Use analytics and reporting tools to produce marketing performance reports.
  • Nurture effective working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Be able to work in a very dynamic and fast-paced environment

About You

  • Be qualified in Marketing and/or Communications - undergraduate level minimum
  • 2-3 years B2B experience is a non-negotiable, you have worked in a B2B environment with at least 2 years experience in marketing
  • Have a growth mindset, be willing to try new things, learn from things that didn’t work as they should, continually optimise to improve
  • A self-starter, with the ability to think and act fairly independently at times,
  • Great communicator and interpersonal skills/ability to influence both internally and externally
  • Strong project management skills
  • Great written and spoken communication skills
  • Be able to work under pressure in a very dynamic and fast-paced environment,
  • Have an excellent eye for detail
  • Able to effectively plan and manage conflicting priorities and deadlines.
