The Channel Partnerships team in Australia is responsible for expanding Airwallex’s partner relationships, specifically across three core industries: Accounting, Start-Ups & Ecommerce. Airwallex’s partner relationships drive brand awareness, customer acquisition as well as various forms of product integrations and co-marketing opportunities. We are seeking a strategic, metric driven Strategy & Ops Associate to support the ANZ Partnerships team.

This role will support with operationalisation and execution of strategic partnerships in ANZ.

Based in Australia, this role will report directly to the Head of Partnerships and work closely with other members of the SME Growth organisation.


  • Support with ideation, planning and execution of strategic partnership initiatives for Airwallex by coordinating with cross-functional teams, including legal, operations and finance
  • Support with development of local market partnership strategies and scaling of existing partnerships to drive commercial outcomes
  • Perform data driven analysis to assess progress and performance of AU partnerships and relevant initiatives
  • Identify key growth opportunities and execute initiatives that support the effectiveness of the AU partnerships team

You Have

  • 4+ years of experience with part of that in either a top-tier consulting firm or strategy/ops role at a fast growing tech start-up
  • Additional experience in strategic partnerships, growth marketing or business development would be advantageous
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in traditional consulting tools including Excel, PowerPoint, etc. SQL, Google BigQuery & Looker experience is also preferred
  • Excellent written, verbal and in-person communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
