The FinTech Strategy team is responsible for developing business and product strategies within the scope of financial services, payment, insurance, digital goods, and agent network in Indonesia to achieve company objectives. We would like you to be part of our team in championing financial inclusion for our drivers, merchants, agents, and passengers in Indonesia.

Get to know the Role

As a Manager Payment Ecosystem, you will explore new and optimize existing strategies to

  • Improve payment experience (cash-in, cash-out, & cashless payment) within Grab’s ecosystem
  • PMO Key Strategic Initiative(s) within the Grab ecosystem
  • Drive product roadmap for Grab & OVO initiatives across Grab platforms
  • Lead, manage and review end-to-end Danamon x Grab CoBrand Credit Card projects
  • Manage the portfolio of payment methods that we accept inc (OVO, Credit/debit cards, LinkAja)
  • Drive GrabRewards Catalog strategy as part of the Grab loyalty program.

You will work closely with internal teams that sit in Indonesia & across the region from various functions including business development/commercial, legal, marketing, operation, products, finance, Grab’s business verticals, OVO’s stakeholder, and other external stakeholders.

The Day-to-Day Activities

  • Act as a PMO for strategic projects to ensure follow-through of the functional deliverables via discussions, updates and action-tracking to ensure alignment to roadmap and delivery plan
  • Exercise quantitative and qualitative research to derive conclusions and recommendations for relevant business analysis including but not limited to market sizing, benchmarking, operations model &  strategy, customer pain points, and business process improvement
  • Identify, escalate and design solutions for payment-related issues (i.e  card transactions)
  • Monitor key metrics, find and explore business issues/opportunities to improve overall Payment Ecosystem metrics within the Grab ecosystem
  • Identify, escalate and design solutions for payment issues (i.e  card transactions)
  • Have ownership over your portfolio, with a focus to drive consumer satisfaction through net promoter score and company OKR
  • Be fully up to date with the payment industry landscape & update

The Must-Haves

  • A good honors degree from a top-tier university
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the area of Consulting, Strategy, payment products, PMO,  Card Transaction, or Payment Gateway.
  • Knowledge of relational database Power BI, tableau or other tools for statistical analysis is preferred.
  • A strategic and growth mindset with strong problem-solving skills and proactive, resourceful, independent and technologically savvy
  • A stellar track record of strong prior payments product, portfolio, process, P & L management experience, as well as having managed a broad spectrum of payment services previously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders, partners, etc and strong presentation skills
  • In-depth experience in projects managing complex, cross-functional projects
  • Adaptability to thrive in an agile, fluid environment with the ability to manage ambiguity
  • Strong leadership personality who displays integrity, humility, hunger, responsibility and ownership
