About Zeller

We’re reimagining business banking. Small to medium sized businesses are the backbone of the Australian economy, and we’re here to champion them by building the next generation of financial services.

Zeller is challenging the status quo — and, eventually, the big banks.

Why is it exciting to work at Zeller?

Do you seek out challenges, and thrive on coming up with creative solutions for unique (and often original) ideas? We want you on our team. Zeller is building an entire financial services and payments ecosystem from the ground up. We’re already making waves in the Fintech industry, yet we’re just getting started.

Founded in 2020, we’ve held onto the vibrant, innovative feel of a start-up whilst growing at rapid pace. With the backing of some of the world's leading investors, we’ve also earned the pretty cool moniker of being ‘Australia’s most valuable pre-launch start up’. Ever.

Our goals are ambitious and exciting, and we need an incredibly skilled team to achieve them. When you join Zeller, you’ll quickly learn the team are champions for each other, and one of our strongest attributes is our team-first mentality.

There are some incredible things on the horizon at Zeller - we can't wait for you to join us.

We are searching for a creative, passionate and hands-on Content Marketing Manager to join the Zeller Marketing team. This is an exciting opportunity to own Zeller’s Content roadmap from strategy to execution —incorporating the Zeller Business Blog, Social Media management, Reports, Case Studies, Audio, Video, and more. You’ll be empowered to develop creative content across a variety of formats and platforms, and collaborate with the wider team (Creative, Sales, SEO, Email, Product) to amplify and bring them to life.

This role is ideal for a modern, multi-skilled Content Marketer who can balance creativity and performance. An eye for visual design and ear for brand voice will help you to refine and enhance Zeller’s writing style across Web, Content, and Product. Experience managing social media accounts for a brand with an aspirational online identity and active presence is essential. Additionally, you’ll report regularly on content engagement, consumption and lead generation, and (in partnership with our SEO Manager) optimise web content to improve rankings and grow organic search traffic. Experience using web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, SEMRush) will help you connect data and insight to evolve your content strategy.

This role is an opportunity for an up-and-coming Content Marketer who is ready to own the strategy and roadmap for Australia’s fastest growing technology company, as you make your mark on Zeller during this pivotal time in our brand journey.

You Will

  • Oversee Zeller’s Content Marketing strategy across Blog, Reports, Social Media, Case Studies and more
  • Be a passionate writer — who enjoys writing everything from long and short-form content, stories, articles, through to social media snippets and adcopy
  • Deliver, manage and execute the Zeller Editorial Calendar
  • Build and manage a small team of freelancer content authors
  • Partner with SEO, Marketing and PR teams to develop content that drives product adoption and education objectives
  • Be responsible for delivering engaging and creative posts to Zeller’s social media handles (Twitter, Facebook and Instagram) to grow users
  • Develop relationships with Zeller’s merchants and engage them to build out a rich library of case studies (written, video, audio and social)
  • Optimise web content to drive keyword improvement and grow organic search traffic
  • Report regularly on content performance, and optimise your strategy to deliver continual improvement
  • Partner with colleagues in the Marketing team to drive traffic to your content through Paid, Owned and Earned channels

You Have

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in Content Marketing
  • Experience using a variety of platforms including CMS (Hubspot), Social Media (Sprout Social, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram), and web analytics (SEMRush, Google Analytics)
  • Experience in all, or most, of the following: editorial planning, content strategy, web analytics, writing, journalism / PR, and SEO
  • A love of writing, interviewing and creating content from scratch. You’re an excellent copywriter and know how to express brand voice consistently, with the right tone, at the appropriate time
  • A finger on the pulse. You’re up to date with the news, the latest trends, and know how to hijack a moment (or a meme) in the right way to ensure your brand is a part of (or not a part of) the conversation when it counts
  • Outstanding attention to detail and an eye for design; down to the last character, image crop, or line break
  • Comprehensive, up-to-date knowledge of the leading tools, platforms and technologies to make your job more efficient. You’ll thrive on educating others in the business on what you’re doing and why it’s important.
  • A tertiary education, or a track record of relevant experience that proves it wasn’t needed
  • A passion for engaging with customers, and are not afraid to build long-lasting relationships with them
  • A creative mind that can deliver and execute on bold ideas

Like the rest of the team, you’ll benefit from:

A competitive salary package, including equity from an early stage;

A balanced, progressive and supportive work environment;

Excellent parental leave and other leave entitlements;

Hybrid working arrangements;

Excellent learning and development opportunities;

Plenty of fun and social opportunities - we love to come together as a team, both virtually and in person;

Being part of one of Australia’s most exciting ‘scale-ups’.
