What's so exciting about this role?

This is a rare opportunity to join our high performing Group Treasury Team who are responsible for managing hummgroup's liquidity, funding and capital management.

You will assist with the management of hummgroup’s treasury and funding activities with a focus on reporting, data and analysis in relation to hummgroup’s $5bn funding platform. This an exciting role which will involve responsibility for the ongoing reporting requirements in connection with securitisation funding vehicles across geographies and will include liaison with banks, trustees, rating agencies and other stakeholders, preparing reporting, assisting with data capture and analysis. You will also support the team with a focus on improving reporting processes and governance.

What Does An Average Day Look Like?

No day is average at humm but here’s an idea of what you can expect to do in this role

  • Day to day management of the Group’s Asset Backed Securitisation Programmes, including ensuring facilities operate efficiently with timely and accurate reporting.
  • Understand and work with Structured Finance documentation and funding structures.
  • Understand and develop funding models, internal and external reporting.
  • Learn to analyse and provide insight on funding vehicles, including performance trends and upcoming challenges.
  • Execution of funding activities to ensure new assets are funded efficiently to ensure timely cashflow management.
  • Work constructively with IT and BI to drive improvements/changes required to strengthen reporting and data.
  • Focus on strong governance and the implementation and documentation of robust reporting processes.
  • Assist on ad hoc projects, including broader treasury, and funding activities.
  • Liaise with external counterparties, including but, not limited to banks, rating agencies and trustee

Who will thrive in this role?

You are a competent, experienced analyst with 2 or, 3 years Treasury and/or Securitisation experience, with strong numerical and communication capability. You are flexible, driven and passionate about customers; you can operate in and contribute to a fast paced and dynamic environment, and you bring excellent multi-tasking skills and a focus on delivering outcomes.

We’re Also Looking For Someone Who Brings

  • A drive and energy to improve processes and reporting procedures to enhance efficiencies across the Group Treasury function.
  • Knowledge of the structure and operation of securitisation vehicles with experience in building cashflow waterfalls and payment mechanics.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office or similar Application skills.
  • Analytical/Critical thinking and diagnostic interpretation skills.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to build positive internal and external relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and manage stakeholder engagement and expectations.
  • Understanding of Commercial or Consumer finance principles
