We are looking for a Client Delivery Project Manager to join our Product and Services department.
Reporting into the Senior Manager, Project Portfolio- Client Delivery, the main purpose of this role is to lead the delivery of assigned projects within time, cost, and quality tolerances inside our agile environment.
As a Client Delivery Project Manager, you will be accountable for the ownership of several key client initiatives through the proactive engagement and management of client expectations to ensure positive outcomes. You will be involved in the delivery of projects that range across complex multiple product client on-boarding, adding new products and product development, compliance activities, digital and work requests.
As Cuscal’s Client Delivery Project Manager responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of client projects to approved scope, schedule, cost, and quality targets
- Effectively deliver utilising Agile methods
- Issue and risk management
- Facilitate client engagement at a project level
- Contribute to pre-project processes such as proposals and business cases
- Develop, document, and approval of PM artefacts as defined by Cuscal’s project management methodology
- Resource scheduling with product squads and support functions
- Engage and monitor external vendors where relevant
- Ensure a positive team culture in accordance with Cuscal values
- Manage all interdependencies
- Status reporting to both the steering committee and clients
- Prepare materials for the steering committee
- Escalate of issues and risks in a timely and appropriate manner
- Facilitate change requests
- Facilitate change management activities
- Ensure activities to operationalise the project and handover to the support teams are planned and completed
- Continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the PM team
This role strongly focuses on client engagement and delivery, for this reason this role requires the ideal candidate to have at least 5-8 years of demonstrated project management experience (as a guide) adhering to recognised project management methodologies. With an extensive focus on ICT and business change implementation environment, you will have proven experience of working in a multi-client service ecosystem to be considered for this role. Most importantly, your client engagement skills will be exceptional.
As a Client Delivery Project Manager, you will have comprehensive knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies and usage of PM terminology and process such as Prince2, PMP. With the ability to analyse, interpret and evaluate project data, you will have proven strength in writing quality business and technical documentations. Furthermore, your capabilities of tracking, monitoring, and communicating the progress to your key stakeholders will see you galvanise the success of this role.
As the successful candidate you will be an authentic collaborator and can influence and communicate in an effective and consultative manner. Your use of MS-Project and JIRA (or other Agile tooling) to track, monitor and communicate progress of projects in an Agile environment will be paramount in this role. Additionally, a sharp critical and problem-solving mindset with exceptional abilities to make effective decisions will centre on all that you do in this role. Relevant tertiary qualifications in project management such as CP.PM (AIPM) or PM (PMI), Prince2 is essential with Agile product development methodologies such as Scrum and SAFe desirable.
Experience in the payments space of financial services is advantageous but not required.
