What's so exciting about this role?

As a Sales Support Officer you will be responsible for handling enquires from our sales network (internal and external) for day-to day support, product and application enquiries, application troubleshooting, system maintenance, salespeople registrations, campaign and promotional updates, setting up new retailers etc.

In addition to the inbound service, you will also support a pipeline of consumer applications with the aim of increasing conversion rates from approval to settled deal.

The Seller Success Team provides 6 day support to the Australian Cards portfolio business. Hours of operation are Monday to Friday 9am to 7pm and Saturday 9am to 5pm.

What Does An Average Day Look Like?


No day is average at humm but here’s an idea of what you can expect to do in this role

  • Provide exceptional service to our Sales Team
  • Provide high level of service to Customers, Retailers and internal stakeholders on all sales support enquiries via email and inbound calls, all whilst adhering to Privacy Principles and policy guidelines
  • Set up new retailers in required systems, creating store and salesperson logins, application links, setting up bank details etc.
  • Action a daily pipeline of approved deals through various methods of customer and retailer communication including emails, outbound dialling, automated SMS and direct store contacts; converting as many approved deals as possible to settled with compliant paperwork completion from our retailers and customers
  • Manage the maintenance and information for our existing retailer data base
  • Set up and update Promotions and Campaigns
  • Promptly escalate issues when required to team leads to ensure these are managed to resolution
  • Support with the review of credit decisions and explanation of any further information required to overturn the outcome
