Manager, Government Engagement
Overview
The Mastercard Asia Pacific Government Engagement unit engaging Government agencies at Federal, State and local level in the design and launch of commercial and pre-commercial programs. Mastercard’s focused approach to engaging with government agencies in selected markets aims at building durable partnerships while developing new revenue opportunities
Role
Lead / Support development of solution- or market-focused client engagement program plans, in alignment with the Regional Government Engagement team, the Divisional Government Engagement lead and Customer Solution teams. This includes defining business case and model, scoping program initiatives & defining expected outcomes for Mastercard and the Government and resource requirements.
Support Regional Govt Engagement team in strategy alignment, sales effectiveness measures and codify/exchange of best practices.
All About You
Strong analytical (incl. market research, business case modelling, performance metrics) and project management skills (incl. project scoping, governance, tracking, issue resolution)
Business and strategy background, as well as understanding of payment/fintech solutions.
Government processes experience is a very strong plus.
Strong communication skills are needed to engage internal stakeholders.
