About the role:

The Commercial/ Network Partnership - Payments Manager will be in charge of developing our regional network of financial partners and cultivating their relationships at all levels of the payments and financial services ecosystem. This position will ultimately be responsible for enabling financial product development and product growth. You will optimize product unit economics, strategically select financial partners and drive end-to-end commercial negotiations while ensure the positive growth from top to bottom line.

What will you be doing?

  • Own payment product (Domestic and Cross border) cluster P&L economics and network strategy
  • Understand costumes’ needs and competitive landscape around payment (Domestic and Cross border) in order to synthesize Aspire’s product offering
  • Drive the network expansion strategy, selecting and working with strategic payments and ecosystem partners especially in cross border payment space
  • Own and improve unit economics of payment products (Domestic and Cross border) across the region, selecting the right partners and driving and/or supporting negotiations end-to-end
  • Work across departments to drive domestic and cross border payment growth i.e. transactions, users, markets etc. while keep in mind to achieve the margin goals
  • Support Aspire’s product roadmap based on financial network health, innovation, customers’ needs, and financial network partner needs 
  • Partner effectively across functions/ teams in Aspire, including sales, account management, operation, finance, compliance, and product to optimize processes, payment P&L, and payment growth
  • Work closely with Compliance to provide practical, day-to-day guidance to partners on a wide range of compliance matters related to payments and financial regulation, ensuring partners comply with regulatory policies

We would love to get to know you if you have the following: 

  • 5+ years of partnerships experience working at or with fintechs, financial institutions / banking partners (preferably cross border remittance company i.e. Wise, Rapyd, Wllex, etc.)
  • A proven track record of working effectively in a fast-paced environment, with significant internal and external dependencies, leading and driving cross-functional projects.
  • A proven track record of partnering with external stakeholders to successfully identify and execute on growth opportunities.
  • Proven track record of driving payment product growth commercially of top and bottom line
  • Ability to independently drive commercial negotiations to completion and identify blockers and potential tradeoffs
