The primary purpose of the Corporate IT function at Tyro is to provide outstanding service to Tyro employees and support the successful operations of the Corporate IT department.
What You'll Be Doing
- You'll be taking charge within a Level 3 support infrastructure environment where you are an expert of deployment across Microsoft 365 and Azure.
- You'll be responsible for systems and applications including project implementation, ticket escalations and support services, which requires you to take ownership for delivering fantastic support and complex technical implementations on time, to ensure the management of operational handover is seamless.
- You'll get the opportunity to be hands-on with projects in this role and play a critical goal in successful delivery.
- Ongoing development of the team is important and you'll get to play a role here too. With your natural mentoring skills, you will also coach and assist other members of the team through technical leadership and guidance.
- Be responsible for a broad range of implementation activities, including configuration, demonstrations, design workshops, documentation, testing, report development, training, data migration, knowledge transfer, UAT support, production go-live, hyper-care, and transition to the support team.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with and present complex technical IT concepts and methodologies to technical and non-technical stakeholders and decision-makers at all levels
- Work with internal business units to consolidate, rationalize and improve the current offerings in use.
What You'll Need
- Significant technology industry experience with predominantly an infrastructure and workplace focus.
- Strong written and oral communication skills and an ability to effectively communicate with and influence technical and senior non-technical audiences
- Proven experience delivering transformational change in infrastructure and the workplace.
- Strong technical knowledge of server operating systems.
- Significant experience in on-premises and cloud-based technology solution design
- Versant with cloud SaaS and PaaS technologies in Azure
- Experience integrating Microsoft Security and Identity capabilities with AWS and other vendor SaaS products
- Microsoft federation experience
- Experience designing, integrating, and managing complex infrastructure solutions
- Ability to provide technical system solutions, determine the overall direction and provide recommendations for complex technical issues
- Advanced experience with Microsoft technology stack including Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Group Policy, PowerShell scripting, and Endpoint Manager.
- Experience with large scale cloud migration programs covering MS Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint as replacements for legacy on-premises file sharing and intranet portals.
