Position Summary
In this exciting new position, you will be responsible for working closely with our client to resolve technical issues and provide configuration support.
Responsibilities:
- Manage NCR Retail solution configuration.
- Provide assistance to client with technical issues and third level support.
- Assists with classification and prioritization of incidents.
- Maintain test environments.
- Conducting requirements analysis, technical investigation and troubleshooting.
- Verifying project issues and fixes.
- Work with internal and external teams to successfully deploy the solution.
- Provide regular progress updates and reports to the team and/ or client.
- Act as a technical liaison for the client.
Qualifications and Experience required:
- 7+ years of experience in an IT-related field (preferably in any of the following: technical consultancy, system administration, user support or similar fields.)
- Experience in solving technical problems, and follow-through actions including documenting and sharing solutions.
- Experience working with Scripting Languages.
- Experience working with Databases (Oracle or Microsoft SQL).
- Knowledge of MS Products.
- Experience working with Change Management Processes (ITIL) and Incident Management Systems (Jira, TFS).
- Excellent, well-developed interpersonal, client-facing skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work towards deadlines and under pressure.
- Comfortable working collaboratively with on-site and off-site teams.
- Enthusiastic and Hungry to learn. Willing to take on new challenges and resolve them methodically.
- Flexibility to work in different worktimes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in an agile project environment.
- Experience working in retail and/or professional services.
- Retail POS products knowledge is beneficial.
