Payment Relationships Manager – Banking
The Paysafe Banking Relationship team is seeking a new member to join their team. This team is responsible for the Group’s global relationships with their core banking & payment partners, driving strategic initiatives to ensure Paysafe has the strongest possible platforms and solutions to drive our future needs.
Reporting to the VP: Global Head of Payment Partner Relationships, the right candidate will have a Payments or Banking background (preferably with experience in NBFI/Transactional Banking) and experience either as a relationship manager or relationship management support role.
Responsible for
- Assist with driving and delivering the Group’s Payment partnership strategy.
- Provide ongoing reports to the business units on current Payment providers and status of relationships.
- Support risk assessments of key markets, countries, and banks and partners.
- Support the Payment Network Team, to develop and maintain a portfolio of partner relationships.
- Responsible for implementing and maintaining the teams partner management tool
- Support both internal and external projects
- Maintain overview of partner fees, charges and partner set ups
Experience & Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years working within the banking or payments industry
- Knowledge of Global Payments Rails (e.g. SWIFT, SEPA and APMs),clearing landscape and platforms
- Knowledge Banking, Payments industry, Regulatory, KYC or AML risk is essential
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines set both internally and externally.
- Ability to work in a team is essential
- Excellent communication and negotiations skills
- Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail
- Language skills: English, Spanish/Portuguese as a second language is desirable
- Ability to travel if required
- Experience in a client service and communication focused role
- Exposure to emerging markets would be preferable
