What does a successful QA Environment Build Engineer do at Fiserv?
- You'll join our Pay by Bank/TeleCheck engineering group within Fiserv’s Global Business Solutions (Payment Acceptance) business.
- As a QA environment support engineer, you will ensure quality of the products, technical solutions and services developed for both internal and external use to provide Pay by Bank/TeleCheck payment processing services to our customers.
- You will contribute at both an individual level, as well as a team level, to achieve the organization's objectives and goals around Software Quality Assurance.
- You will build and maintain the test environments to help Fiserv's TeleCheck team achieve best-in-class results.
What you will do:
- Maintain various test environments and applications, working side by side with our amazing developers, business partners, testing applications, networks and systems.
- Use your extensive training, knowledge and experience as you lead and attend project meetings, develop and execute extensive test plans and take ownership for ensuring the delivery of quality software applications, including leading and participating in test planning and quality review sessions.
- Participate in daily standup calls for discussion of testing status, defects, and general management of the testing phase.
- Drive continuous improvement through all processes, including but not limited to team standards, test planning, closure reports, resourcing, and test execution, as well as debugging, metric collection, and reporting.
- Design technical and functional specifications used in the development of Pay by Bank/TeleCheck software and processing services
What you will need to have:
- 7+ years of experience in SQL development
- 7+ years of experience working on Unix/Linux system administration
- 5+ years of experience with Java, Oracle, Tomcat, and JBoss
- 5+ years of experience with DevOps testing tools
- 5+ years of experience in functional, manual testing with tools such as SoapUI, Postman, ISO messages, JMeter, Swagger, Shell scripting, Putty, Emulator, TOAD, Confluence, and Jira
- 5+ years of experience in the SDLC process, Agile and Waterfall methodologies, writing test plans, test scripts, regressions, etc.
- 5+ years of experience with regression review and analysis
What would be great to have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field (or foreign equivalent degree) or equivalent work experience and/or certifications
- Experience in the financial services or banking domains
- Experience installing third party software, working with ticketing systems – ServiceNow preferred
- Experience installing, updating, and managing SSL Certificates – Venafi preferred
- Experience with Informatica
