The DBS Commercial Cards team is looking for an Account Development Executive to create long-term, trusting relationships with our customers. The Account Development Executive oversees a mass portfolio, develops new business from existing clients and actively seeks new sales opportunities. Account Development Executive responsibilities include developing strong relationships with customers, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders and preparing regular account reviews. Account Development Executive also answer day-to-day queries and identify new business opportunities among existing customers to grow commercial card usage. In this role, you will liaise with cross-functional internal teams (including Operations, Relationship Manager and Product Development departments) to resolve daily operations challenges and improve overall customer experience. If you are familiar with card products, have a flair for client communication and a customer champion.
Ideally, Candidates for this role will know how to meet individual and team targets. A successful Account Development Executive should collaborate with the team to achieve quotas while keeping our clients satisfied and engaged with our products and services in the long run.
Responsibilities
- Work with Account Development Head on DDOM, Support Data Analytics to drive strategic channel strategy on mass portfolio
- Support Product on AD Campaign fulfilment and tracking
- Serve as the focal point of contact for all customer account management matters
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
- Conduct ad-hoc account reviews with mass accounts
- Ensure the timely and successful implementation of our commercial card solutions according to customer needs and objectives
- Communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
- Develop new business with existing clients and identify areas of opportunities to drive card usage
- Forecast and track account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
- Prepare reports on account status
- Assist with client requests or issue escalations as needed
Requirements
- Ability to learn quickly to deliver client-focused solutions to customer needs
- Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time while maintaining sharp attention to detail
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities
- Strong verbal, written communication skills
- Strong in Microsoft Excel and Data Analytics
