THE ROLE
The
Senior T24 Technical Consultant is responsible for providing high level support and expertise in one or more implementation areas of the product throughout the stages of TEMENOS production support, products implementation & release upgrade.
The Senior T24 Technical Consultant focuses especially on more complex issues, provides guidance and coaching to less experienced Consultants.

- You will take a lead role in ensuring the contribution of others adds value.
- Primary responsibility is in the area of BAU ticket resolution
- You will understand the details provided in the logged ticket. Validate the completeness of the information provided, and wherever required, collect further information from the client to triage & resolve the ticket raised.
- You will check for availability of the supporting documents for recreating the problem reported by the clients.
- You will research database for similar reported problem(s).
- You will request for further information from client, if required.
- You will be responsible for recreation of the problem.
- You will provide detailed analysis of the problem and coding, testing of a change request or a fix received from product team
- You will provide temporary workaround (till the actual solution is delivered) where feasible.
- You will clarify doubts and assist the team members to resolve the issue.
- You will review the updates and triage/analysis/PIR documents prepared internally before publishing it to client/PACS
- The T24 Technical Consultant is expected to specialize in at least one of the following technical areas:
- Technical architecture and best use of TEMENOS Client services tools;
- Configuration of TEMENOS products or interfaces with the product, according to the definitions supplied;
- Data migration and related activities
- You will identify, define, and coordinate any development activities that may occur during the implementation of TEMENOS products, such as additional specific functionality, interfacing to external systems or conversion programs to be built
- You will provide clear and concise technical documentation
- You will identify and validate any gaps together with proposals for their resolution (e.g., workarounds or changes in processes) and ensure any solutions proposed are realistic and within the agreed scope.
- You will perform such other duties, functions, and services, consistent with status or vocational ability, as may from time to time be required.
Requirements
- You should have a minimum of 7 years of experience in software technical consultancy
- You should have minimum 5 years experience in a T24 Technical application support and Helpdesk role.
- You must be fluent in English – verbal and written. Additional language skills would be of benefit
- You should have technical knowledge: T24, INFOBASIC, JAVA, ORACLE 9 (or above) operating systems, knowledge, and familiarity with the functionality of UNIX, AS400 and NT, particularly disc structures. Exposure to mainframes.
- You should have product knowledge: Strong awareness of Industry and market developments, good overall company knowledge T24 Transact – Arrangement Architecture, Payment Hub, T24 Customization design and development, Integration Framework(IF) & T24 APIs designing; COB run & monitoring and T24 reports reconciliation; Tools - EDS,UXP,TAFJ and FTP
- Understands at a good level industry concepts such as:
- Java VMs and artefacts (WAR and EAR files), performance tuning, JMS
- Concepts for Integration (i.e. Integration of data or user accounts between multiple systems for a client.
- Componentization of applications
- Role of an ESB for event driven messaging and orchestration
- Concepts for Internet Security, Intranet security, cryptography, data tampering, firewalls
- Single Sign On concepts / supported solutions, LDAP / Active Directory
