The primary role of the Director, eCommerce Product position Is an exciting role that will offer a talented product leader the opportunity to define and drive the future direction of our Shift4Shop product platform. You’ll research industry trends, review competitive offerings, and connect with internal & external stakeholders to form insights that help drive our eCommerce product roadmap. You’ll partner with Design and Development to create new and innovative capabilities,reporting & analysis tools and expansion product opportunities. The ideal candidate for this position is obsessed with delivering an exceptional merchant experience and excited to innovate and disrupt the eCommerce landscape.
Responsibilities
- Define a comprehensive product roadmap or new capabilities and enhancements to extend and enhance the Shift4Shop value proposition
- Lead, mentor and grow a cross-functional team of product managers to identify opportunities, define requirements and align development to successfully deliver ongoing platform enhancements
- Serve as an Internal and external product evangelist with the ability to build consensus with executives, colleagues, and third parties
- Conduct market analysis to develop current and future expected landscape structures across the eCommerce landscape
- Measure and report top-level KPIs to measure the effectiveness of product investments toward stated goals
- Develop and launch go-to-market plans for partner integrations and commercial opportunities
- Rely on proven analytical skills with an ability to utilize metrics to define expected outcomes, measure performance, and continually improve product effectiveness and value capture
Qualifications
- Experience: 7+ years of product management responsibilities at a scaled, modern eCommerce product company
- Expert Knowledge: Deep understanding of consumer-facing web and mobile products, and strong visual aptitude with experience defining user workflows and sketching wireframes
- Product life cycle management: Experience managing competitive, trend, and user research metric collection and using data to define features expansions and new product capabilities
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead a team of product managers toward the achievement of defined objectives and goals
- Data-driven mindset: Previous experience managing metrics with an affinity toward experimentation & testing across the user experience and customer journey
- Grit: Demonstrate a whatever-it-takes attitude to ensure that your product and team are successful
- Collaboration: Track record of delivering results across cross-functional teams with the ability to lead by influence
